Are You Tired of Chronic Neck and Shoulder Pain?

Do you struggle with:

  • Persistent neck tension that returns no matter how much you stretch or massage?
  • Shoulder pain that interferes with daily activities like reaching, lifting, or sleeping?
  • Headaches that seem to start in your neck and shoulders?
  • Stiffness from computer work, stress, or poor posture?
  • Limited movement that makes simple tasks uncomfortable?

If massage, stretching, and strengthening keep failing you, this workshop teaches you how to find ideal organization and retrain your nervous system so the improvements actually stick.

"Movement dysfunction or pain is often caused by learned habits, not by abnormal structures. Improvements come from changing habits of movement and creating new possibilities." Norman Doidge

What You'll Discover

Why Your Pain Keeps Coming Back

  • The hidden reasons why neck and shoulder tension persists
  • How your whole body contributes to upper body pain (it's not just your neck!)
  • The intelligence behind your "bad" posture - Why your body is actually being smart, not stubborn
  • Why "fixing your posture" actually creates MORE tension - and the effortless alternative that works
  • The effort problem: Why willpower-based approaches exhaust you and fail
  • The surprising connection between breathing, support, and tension

A Revolutionary Movement Approach

Learn a gentle, research-based approach that works with your nervous system's natural ability to learn, not against it. Instead of forcing your body into "correct" positions through willpower, you'll discover how small, intelligent movements create lasting change by teaching your brain new possibilities.

The key difference: When your skeleton supports you properly, good posture and pain-free movement happen automatically—without effort, without thinking about it.

Practical Skills You Can Use Every Day

  • Simple movement lessons that retrain your body to move efficiently
  • Self-care techniques that provide immediate relief
  • Awareness tools to prevent tension from building up
  • Better movement habits for computer work, sleeping, and daily activities

Here's what Clients are saying!

"I really enjoyed working with Joe! He tailored his approach to my unique back issue that I've had for over years, cooperating with the other physicians that I'm working with and even introducing me to new ones to help me progress faster. The feldenkrais approach helped me reach some breakthroughs which i was struggling with in regular physical therapy. Overall, highly recommended!" Alireza

"I'd highly recommend working with Joe! I've been experiencing lower back pain and tight muscles for quite a long time. I gained alot of value from my sessions with Joe. I started weight training these past 1.5 years which was re-introducing some back pain. Joe was attentitive and helpful in determining some of the root cause issues and problems. I learned a ton about my body, muscles, movement, etc. In addition to evaluation, the sessions included structural massage therapy that was better and more helpful than any massage therapist I've been to before." Jacob

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is perfect for anyone who:

  • Experiences chronic neck and shoulder pain despite trying multiple treatments
  • Works at a computer and deals with tension from prolonged sitting
  • Wants natural pain relief without relying on medications or frequent treatments
  • Feels frustrated that nothing seems to provide lasting relief
  • Wants to understand their body better and take charge of their own comfort

No movement experience required! This approach works for all ages and fitness levels.

What Makes This Different

Works With Your Brain, Not Against It

Most approaches rely on willpower: "Sit up straight!" "Hold your shoulders back!" But willpower exhausts you, and the moment you stop thinking about it, you slump back down. The Feldenkrais Method works with your nervous system's natural learning ability, creating changes that become automatic.

Addresses Root Causes, Not Just Symptoms

Instead of just treating where it hurts, you'll discover how your whole body contributes to neck and shoulder problems. When you improve the foundation (how you support yourself), the symptoms often resolve on their own.

Effort vs. Awareness

Rather than forcing your body into "correct" positions, you'll learn to notice what you're actually doing vs. what you think you're doing. This awareness naturally leads to easier, more efficient movement patterns.

Immediate & Lasting Results

Most people notice changes during the first lesson. Unlike willpower-based approaches that require constant vigilance, these improvements integrate into your nervous system and become your new normal way of moving.

Self-Empowering

You'll leave with tools and understanding to continue improving on your own, reducing your dependence on treatments and therapists.

 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I've tried to improve my posture many times. Why do I keep failing?
A: Your body isn't being stubborn—it's being intelligent! What looks like "bad posture" is usually your nervous system's smart adaptation to things like stress, old injuries, or breathing patterns. That's why willpower doesn't work—you're fighting against your body's current solution instead of giving it better options. This workshop shows you how to work WITH your body's intelligence.

Q: I'm not flexible or fit. Can I still participate?
A: Absolutely! This method works for all bodies and fitness levels. Movements are gentle and done within your comfortable range.

Q: Will this help if I've tried physical therapy and massage without success?
A: Yes! This approach works differently than traditional treatments by teaching your nervous system new movement patterns.

Q: Do I need any special equipment or clothing?
A: Just comfortable clothing you can move in and a blanket or mat to lie on in class.

Q: What if my pain is severe?
A: The Feldenkrais Method is very gentle, but please consult your healthcare provider about participating in movement classes.

Q: Is this like yoga or Pilates?
A: While gentle like some yoga, Feldenkrais focuses specifically on learning and awareness rather than stretching or strengthening.
